How can we get the community engaged in social issues not always openly discussed? That is the question 904WARD challenged Brunet-García to answer as it shines a spotlight on social inequities in Jacksonville, Florida. In fall 2016, Brunet-García began the development of a brand identity to advance the dialogue around race, identity, and important social issues.
On any given day, Brunet-García’s designers can be found engrossed in their computer screens or brainstorming brilliant ideas. The entire team strives to learn new skills that keep the agency’s work innovative. Art Director Bianca Borghi recently enrolled in a motion design course to learn more about animation. I asked her to discuss her motivation behind pursuing the course and the progress she made.
